Bilateral Pectoralis Minor Syndrome with Surgical Repairs - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit begins with one large anterior view of the chest including the ribcage, intercostal muscles, pectoralis minor muscles and brachial plexus. This image clearly inllustrates the bilateral pectoralis minor syndrome with compression of the nerves which pass beneath the pectoralis minor between the insertion of this muscle and the underlying ribcage. Next, one intra-operative image is included showing an individual turned to one side with one arm raised to illustrate the exposure of the compression site through a transverse axiallary incision. Finally, one additional anterior view is included showing the portions of the muscles which were removed in the two pectoralis minor release procedures.
