Ischemic Stroke - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
Clearly depicts the anatomy of the brain and effects of a stroke (cerebrovascular accident or cva) of the right middle cerebral artery. Shows an enlargement of the right side brain showing a region of stroke injury secondary to an interruption of blood supply due to a clot lodging in the distal vessel. Images identify a region of decreased blood flow and blood supply to the brain, interruption of blood supply due to a blood clot, and resulting brain infarction.
